About this Episode
Sadly, it happens. Riding motorcycles at stupid fast speeds for the entertainment of people like us is dangerous and every now and then, tragically, someone pays the ultimate price. Every racer knows every time they get on the bike that it could be their last and at Mugello it was for Jason Dupasquier.
And so we pause, and we reflect, and we send our heartfelt condolences to Jason's family and friends and all those in the paddock. And then we get on with it. Because that's what racing is and that's what racers do.
Our own Jack Miller summed it up best when asked whether racing should have continued in the wake of Dupasquier's passing. "It’s the one thing we love to do," he said, "and it’s the one thing we’re good at."
RIP Jason.
As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of Nolan helmets in Australia), Suzuki, Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care.
