About the show

There have never been three more sophisticated, informed, or serious MotoGP commentators than those screaming bastards on Italian TV. Or those stuttering Pom pumpernickels who keep saying “penultimate” because its fancier than “second-last”. They’re pretty good at this MotoGP commentary stuff. And there’s a few Spanish commentators who are the top of their game.
We’re not them.

  • Moto PG 128: 'He sees their man eggs are unfried...'

    May 2nd, 2024  |  2 hrs 21 mins

What's the title about, you ask? We don't understand it either but it was funny when Borrie said it, which you'll hear after you press play. But don't do that before you've worked out a way to give us money. We make it easy through our Patreon Pit Crew or you can send it in the post. If you're having trouble, get in touch and we'll work something out. Now, back to the show. Hard to know what to say about one of the most entertaining weeks - both on and off the course - in recent memory. Was the highlight George calling out Danny for a boxing match? Or Pecco holding off a rampaging Marquez? Or is it Frieda's horoscope? Or Borrie's poem? All of the above? Not for us to decide, friend, that's on you. So press play now and enjoy the madness.

  • Moto PG 127: America - Home of the Gravy Seal

    April 17th, 2024  |  2 hrs 3 mins

The racing in Texas (or North Mexico as our trio like to call it) was next level. So were the grid girls. And after a weekend like that there's only one guest who can live up to the hype and that's the incomparable Mat Mladin. Straight off the toilet and hobbling on a leg held together with sticky tape and chewing gum, the legendary racer joins Boris, Tugg and Freido to recap a brilliant weekend in the US where HRC went to die but the legend of BatMav was born. COTA was good. Ep 127 is better. Don't believe us? Hit the play button and judge for yourself. Then join our Patreon Pit Crew and give us money. You know we deserve it.

  • Moto PG 126: Beware the White Tiger

    March 27th, 2024  |  1 hr 53 mins

What do a white tiger, a Vegas casino act and Moto GP racing have in common? Nothing, obviously. But that doesn't stop our three intrepid analysts somehow weaving them together in one of the more bizarre opening narratives to an episode of the greatest motorcycling podcast in the universe. And from there, somehow, it goes downhill. Simmo is back for episode 126 as Freido runs through some horoscopes, Borrie gets in touch with his inner 12-year-old and Tug brings us up to speed with The Captain's instructions. All you have to do to access the madness is press 'play' and then give serious consideration to sending us some money. It's the least you could do.

  • Moto PG 125: He took the camel's mighty gland...

    March 13th, 2024  |  2 hrs 9 mins

And so it begins. The 2024 season is officially underway and the tone has already been set wth the episode title. It's a line drawn from Borrie's first poem of 2024 and if this effort is the measure then it's going to be a spectacular year all round. There's new segments, new music and new sponsors but - importantly - there's also the same old same old from our three intrepid 'analysts'. Hear the Gresini team meeting minutes, Rossi's letter, Freido's racer horoscope and much, much more. Oh, and give us money. Lots of it. Thankyou.

  • Moto PG 124: Talking Testicles With Yoda

    February 14th, 2024  |  1 hr 17 mins

It might not be racing but it's still men riding motorcycles stupid fast so testing is worth talking about. Of course, if you're going to talk about a topic it's best to have a guest who knows what it all means and for that, we have Simon Crafar. Or Yoda, as we call him. As always, Simon delivers expertise and insight in a way few can and it makes for an engrossing conversation. In return for these gifts we give you we ask for only one small thing: money. You can give us some by joining our Patreon Pit Crew or by buying Borrie's books. Or just send it in the post, we don't care. Either way, press play and get educated on what unfolded as Sepang.

  • Moto PG 123: Rising Stars: The Return of the Ginger Ninja

    February 2nd, 2024  |  38 mins 50 secs

Even though Boris kissed him last time they met in person Joel Kelso agreed to come back on the Moto PG pod but with one caveat: it had to be on Zoom. Smart lad. And you should be glad he did agree because as always this chat with the Darwin born racer was both entertaining and enlightening. He's back in Moto 3 in 2024 and as you'll hear he's confident it will be a successful season which is great news for Australian motorcycle fans. So go and join Patreon or send us money by some other means and then press play and enjoy. You're welcome.

  • Moto PG 122: Back Room Boys - Leon Camier

    January 26th, 2024  |  42 mins 56 secs

Some questions don't have answers. Like how does somebody who knows as much about motorcycles and racing as Leon Camier end up on this podcast? Something is clearly amiss but again, dear listeners, it is you who benefits because Leon is a genius. He knows things that others don't know and he shares some of those things with us. It is enlightening and educational and everything this show usually isn't which, frankly, is a refreshing change. So listen and learn and enjoy. And then send us money, either by joining Patreon or by buying Borrie's books or just send us cash or cheque in the mail.

  • Moto PG Ep 121: Rising (or should that be already risen?) Stars: Remy Gardner

    January 19th, 2024  |  51 mins 52 secs

Remy Gardner has spent his life surrounded by people who know motorcycles and motorcycle racing so one can only imagine his shock when he found himself on the other end of a Zoom call with our three blowhards just before Christmas. But the 25-year-old never flinched and proved himself to be intelligent, thoughtful and articulate with his takes on his career and motorcycle racing more broadly. So brace yourselves, listeners, because in the same way Simon Crafar lifts the tone of the show when he makes an appearance, Remy Gardner is well worth the listen. Enjoy. (And sign up for the Patreon Pit Crew, you tight a##es).

  • Moto PG Ep 120: Rising Stars: Senna Agius

    January 12th, 2024  |  38 mins 42 secs

We don't yet have a nickname for him (feel free to make suggestions) but what a pleasure it was to chat with the popular and talented Sydneysider, Senna Agius. Senna heads to the Moto 2 World Championship in 2024 and somehow figured enduring an episode of Moto PG in the lead up would be good preparation. It'll be interesting to see how that pans out (hopefully really, really well!). There's also Borrie's poem and a few snippets from the Moto GP runmour mill so all in all worth pressing play.

  • Moto PG Ep 119: Rising Stars: Jacob Raulstone

    January 5th, 2024  |  34 mins 2 secs

You need to make a lot of good decisions to get to the top tier of motorcycle racing but even the best have the odd stumble. Jacob Raulstone has done everything right in his young career to date which is why he will be riding in Moto 3 in 2024 and you/we won't be. Given that, we can forgive him his poor judgement in agreeing to be part of this Summer Sessions madness and hope he can make a speedy recovery to common sense in time for the new season. In the meantime, we had a great chat and wish the young man nothing but the best and lots of success in 2024. Enjoy.

  • Moto PG Ep 118: OMG it's Mat Mladin

    December 30th, 2023  |  1 hr 6 mins

There are three categories of Motorcycle racer. There are gods (which is all of them, even the Captain) there are aliens (Marquez, Rossi, Jorge etc) and then there is our guest on Ep 117, Mat Mladin. There are no words that really capture the essence of Mladin though thousands have been used to try. This interview is everything you would hope for and more and while we say a huge thanks (again) to Mat for taking part it is YOU, the listener, who should be thanking US for making it happen. You can do that a number of ways like buying Boris's books, joining our Patreon Pit Crew, telling your friends about us or simply sending us money. Or all of the above (but if you can only do one make it sending the money). And enter our incredible SC Projects competition to win up to $5000 worth of sex cannon godliness from our major sponsor and great supporters, SC Projects.

  • Moto PG Ep 117: Be Better, People

    December 28th, 2023  |  10 mins 12 secs

We love our fans and especially our Patreon supporters. We really do. But there's no diplomatic way to say this people - collectively, your'e not the sharpest tools in the shed. We are having a competition. A brilliant competition, actually. A competition so good even Trump would admit it's better than any competition he's ever held because the prize is sex cannons. Yes, you heard right, SC Project sex cannons to the value of $5000. You wouldn't think it would be hard to give away, would you? But it is. Because you've let us down, sadly. You either can't or don't read instructions and hence, we have a digital sack full of useless entries that don't answer the question. And that makes it difficult for us to give away the sex cannons. Do you see the problem? So because we are generous, here are some examples of how NOT to enter the competition. Listen to them. Then read the instructions. Then try to get it right. And if we do all that properly one lucky listener is about to be the sexiest bastard in their family/office/friend circle/the pub they drink at. etc. So get to it off you want that person to be you.

  • Moto PG Ep 116: Yoda joins the show

    December 15th, 2023  |  1 hr 3 mins

There are few more knowledgeable, sensible or enlightened voices in Moto GP than New Zealand's Simon Crafar. And yet, for reasons unknown by mere mortals, he freely gives of his time to talk to a degenerate trio who spend the bulk of their time masquerading as podcast hosts and the rest of their time pretending they know something about motorcycles. The Lord works in mysterious ways and you, dear listeners, should be giving him praise tonight for he has bestowed upon you a great gift: Yoda talking testing and all other things Moto GP. So follow these instructions in order: buy Borrie's books at www.shocknawe.com.au; get down on your knees and thank the tiger power for delivering this episode to you (especially you non-Patreon leaches) then press play.

  • Moto PG Ep 115: Can You Hear The Drums Fernandez?

    December 2nd, 2023  |  1 hr 39 mins

The racing in Valencia was brilliant but not a patch on Borrie's final poem of the year. Or the Captain's final instructions for 2023. Or even Rossi's final letter for the year. All that (plus a brief appearance from special guest Simon Crafar before recording a seperate end of year episode with him) is inside. But before you press play, a reminder Christmas is coming up and there is no better time than now to buy Borrie's books as a stocking stuffer. Or a paper weight. Or whatever. Frankly, the big man doesn't care what you do with them as long as he gets your money. You can even just send him some money if you prefer. It will make both your festive seasons better. NOW you can press 'play'.

  • Moto PG Ep 114: I Think He Got Anal That Night

    November 22nd, 2023  |  1 hr 24 mins

If you're wondering what the title of this week's show is about, try hitting the play button. (Advertising voice: The Play Button. Your key to MotoPG glory.) Among this week's gems/disgraces depending which side of the woke fence you sit on are some hints and tips for the best ways to cook a puffin, the Captain's latest missive, Boris' Serbian interpretation of Mr Nine Times' thoughts on the week and a poem that Mrs Borrie called time on halfway through Boris' test reading. In Moto PG land that's called 'quality control' and it works as well as you'd expect because you, dear listener, will be getting the full text. So try the Play button. It's way better than this rubbish.

  • Moto PG Ep 113: Catching Up With The Dirty Badger

    November 15th, 2023  |  1 hr 41 mins

Tug's away but The Dirty Badger brings the boys up to speed with all the news from the paddock over the weekend at Sepang where the Captain surpassed Cal Crutchlow for the number of falls in Malaysia. Rumours are flying about who'll replace Marc Marquez at HRC and the lads wonder who might be the next alien in the sport? There's Rossi's instructions, the Captain's debrief, Borries's poem and plenty more so press the play button and start living life right.
